Louffa Press Presents DIY Porto Performance Artists: Index & Scores
artperformance.net was conceived by Beatriz Albuquerque as a machine-language digital archive which encompasses the online sharing of scores or instructions for performances. This archive has begun with performances held in Porto, Portugal, promoting a transnational perspective to compare and share processes between physical performance and the digital. Enabling this release from time and the possibility of repetition by other performers of what has already been created, the project aims to incubate, diversify and explore performativities around the world. The project is funded by Câmara Municipal do Porto, Plataforma Pláka, and Shuttle. Current artists/performers included: Beatriz Albuquerque, Gerardo Burmester, Né Barros, Rita Castro Neves, António Olaio, Albuquerque Mendes, Isabel Barros, Flávio Rodrigues, Gabriela Vaz-Pinheiro, Paulo Mendes, Pedro Tudela, António Melo, Silvestre Pestana, Patricia Oiveira, Bruno Senune, Pilar Mackenna, Joclécio Azevedo, Rebecca Moradalizadeh, Manuel Santos Maia, André Alves, Xavier Paes, Susana Chiocca, Vera Mota, Vitor Lago e Silva, Sónia Carvalho, Daniel Pinheiro, Jérémy Pajean, Angelina Nogueira, Dori Nigro, Max Fernandes, Rita Rainho, António Lago.

For this launch, Louffa Press (NYC) is partnering with Beatriz Albuquerque to host an event with writers Rebecca Goodman, Stacey Levine, Martin Nakell, Yuriy Tarnawsky, and Louffa Press publisher David Moscovich. Musician Noa Fort will join in the celebration.
