Wagner Diversity Council & Wagner Philanthropy Present DEI in Philanthropy: Where Are We Heading?

To deliver greater impact, philanthropy must understand, reflect, and respond to the diverse communities in which it works. While diversity can be defined in many ways, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) focuses specifically on individuals who have historically been marginalized and systemically disadvantaged, including (but not limited to) individuals of different races, ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations, and abilities. Philanthropic efforts are often associated with these principles in order to create a more equitable and just society. In this panel, we will explain how diversity and inclusion can be used as practical considerations for getting better results.
